…And The Bees

Buzzin’ with purpose! 🐝🌿 African honey bees are the bee's knees in every East African eco-system, but their population is facing a sticky situation due to deforestation and pesky pesticides. 🌳🚫 Bomanoma brings the buzz back with 14 (FOURTEEN!) beehives nestled snugly within our Oleleshwa (wild sage tree) Forest. 🏑🌿 But these aren’t just any normal bee hives - we use the innovative hives designed by Samwel Bananah, the undisputed Bee Master of East Africa. The hives include a separate Brooder and Super Box complete with a Queen Excluder. The hives use wood bars instead of the commonly used metal screens, which enables the honey bees to build their honeycombs in the most natural way. This innovative design is the bee-all and end-all, boosting honey production while ensuring zero harm to our hardworking honey makers during harvesting! πŸ―πŸ‘ We're pollen out all the stops to support the restoration and conservation of Africa's endangered yet essential residents - the African honey bee! 🌍🐝 So bee-lieve it or not, come hive a look and learn all about these honey-sweet heroes and our efforts to give them a helping wing! πŸ•ŠοΈπŸŒΊ Don’t worry, they’re friendly!
