Do you want to travel, or would you prefer a real experience? We are uniquely and expertly qualified to create your once-in-a-lifetime adventure in East Africa.
Discover the Magic of East Africa
Do you dream of triumphantly standing atop the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the rooftop of Africa, having pushed your previously-assumed physical and mental limits? Or are you more into a magical safari from the comfort of a Land Cruiser that you donβt need to self-power with your legs? From summit to safari to surf and everything in between, weβve got you covered!
Why Choose Us?
My passion for working with you stems from the transformative impact East Africa has had on my own lifeβs journey. I'm committed to unveiling the enchantment of Africa and extending to others the same chance I had to experience its life-altering charm and splendor; infusing every aspect of your trip with the knowledge Iβve accumulated from living my own life in Kenya. I pride myself in providing you a holistic, immersive experience encompassing local culture, traditional cuisine, outdoor adventures, luxury safaris, pristine beaches, and authentic personal connections which youβll cherish for the rest of your life.
But what makes me different? With a unique blend of an American upbringing, fluency in the local Swahili language, and a vast professional network established through living in Kenya, I receive exclusive discounts through special agreements with vendors by combining elements of your trip like lodging, transportation, meals, and activities. Immersed in East African society and having personally and extensively experienced every itinerary I offer, I provide firsthand knowledge, competency, accountability, and authenticity that simply cannot be found from an office-based travel agent who has never stepped foot on this mystical continent.
Growing up in the United States, I couldβve never imagined building a life for myself in East Africa. But after graduating from the University of Colorado in 2013, thatβs exactly what I did. Along the way I married my wife, Selina, who is of the world-renown Maasai tribe and originally from a small village in Kenya. Living together in the Masai Mara region of Kenya, we are completely immersed in the culture and lifestyle of the regions to where Iβll plan your trip. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, magical wildlife, and endless adventure makes me grateful for the opportunity to live in such a magnificent land. Now, after over a decade living in rural Kenya, I am eager to share my life, my experiences, and my love for East Africa with you!
Personalized Itineraries
Unlike corporate tour agencies acting as intermediaries between their clients and the ground handlers they hire to organize logistics, I work directly with you and personally organize every logistical aspect of your trip through my network of trusted professionals. Essentially, I handle both the role of the tour agent and the ground handler - minimizing overhead costs, adding accountability and transparency, maintaining higher safety standards, and saving you money all while offering a more authentic and exhilarating experience.
All itineraries are flexible and have been hand-crafted by me. With comprehensive guidance on every aspect of your trip from visas to packing lists, I am committed to personalizing your entire experience based on your needs, wants, and budget. My one-of-a-kind skillset ensures your trip will be hassle-free from the initial planning stages to when you board your flight home. And with group discounts, there is every reason to book your unforgettable journey as a group, family, or corporate team.
Testimonials
In 2019, my wife and I walked 1,088 miles (1,760 km), in 58 days, across East Africa - crossing Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda - on foot. Learn more about our crazy adventure and read my short memoir about our experience.
Next Steps
For over a decade, Iβve meticulously crafted and facilitated countless East African experiences for clients from around the world. But if youβre still not convinced of the value I bring, letβs chat on the phone! Drop me an email at brian@bomanoma.com to set up a call, because unlike many corporate tour agencies, I am a real person with a real commitment to working with you to share the splendor of East Africa and tailor-make your African experience of a lifetime!
